MERC is for organisations that are serious about finding ways to take climate action by aiming for Real Zero and Nature Positive goals. We have members from across the entire value chain, from technology providers, to consulting engineers, to manufacturers, to boat builders, naval architects, systems integrators, to vessel and maritime facility operators.

Real Zero means a commitment to completely eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from an organisation’s operations and value chain, rather than relying on carbon offsets to achieve net-zero status.

Nature Positive means an approach to doing business that results in an overall improvement in nature, ensuring environmental outcomes are enhanced, not just maintained.

Members pay an annual fee to join MERC and become active in the MERC Community.
